Dyma\u2019r tro cyntaf i ddatrysiad o\u2019r fath gael ei ddefnyddio mewn amgylchedd trefol yng Nghymru.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Mae Shaun Wasik, Uwch Ymgynghorydd Reoli Perygl Llifogydd <em>WaterCo<\/em>, yn egluro, \u201cMae\u2019r dyluniad yn cynnwys sgrin hunanlanhau awtomatig \u00e2 thair haen ychwanegol o wydnwch, sef sgrin osgoi, gorlif lefel canolig yn \u00f4l i wely\u2019r afon a gorlif ychwanegol sy\u2019n defnyddio system draenio d\u0175r wyneb y ffordd gyfagos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Mae\u2019r dyluniad newydd yn golygu cyn lleied \u00e2 phosibl o waith cynnal a chadw ac felly\u2019n lleihau\u2019r peryglon iechyd a diogelwch sylweddol y byddai gweithwyr y Cyngor yn eu hwynebu gan eu bod yn arfer gorfod glanhau\u2019r sgrin \u00e2 llaw yn ystod llifogydd cyn i\u2019r sgrin newydd ddod yn weithredol.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Gan ddefnyddio\u2019r Contract NEC3 a oedd eisoes ar waith rhwng y Cyngor Sir ac Alun Griffiths (Contractwyr) Cyf, llwyddodd y t\u00eem i fynd ati ar unwaith i weithio\u2019n agored ac ar y cyd i adeiladu\u2019r sgrin newydd a gwaith cysylltiedig yn ystod haf 2021.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Dywedodd Rowland Thomas, Peiriannydd Gr\u0175p Gwasanaeth Priffyrdd Cyngor Ynys M\u00f4n, \u201cDyma brosiect cyntaf o\u2019i fath yng Nghymru.
