Roedd Griffiths wrth ein bodd yn cael gwahoddiad gan ein cwsmer, Trafnidiaeth Cymru, i fod yn rhan o gynllun peilot newydd i helpu i adsefydlu troseddwyr a darparu cyfle iddyn nhw newid eu bywydau drwy hyfforddiant a chyflogaeth.<\/p>\n
Mae menter \u2018Datblygu\u2019r Dyfodol \u2013 Ar y Lein Iawn\u2019 yn cyfateb yn dda i\u2019n Polisi Gwerth Cymdeithasol; mae\u2019n gynllun peilot partneriaid sy\u2019n darparu cyfle i unigolion sydd yn y carchar i weithio gyda Thrafnidiaeth Cymru, a\u2019u partneriaid, ar Brosiect Metro De Cymru.<\/p>\n
Fel rhan o Gynghrair Trafnidiaeth Cymru, cawsom wahoddiad i gwrdd \u00e2 throseddwyr a\u2019u cyfweld wedi i ni fynd trwy eu CVau. Roedd y broses gyfweld, a hwyluswyd gan Trafnidiaeth Cymru, yn debyg i\u2019n trefniadau recriwtio ein hunain ac arweiniodd at gynnig gwaith cyflogedig gyda ni i ddau droseddwr, a elwir yn ddirprwyon.<\/p>\n
Roedd y ddau ddirprwy, a ddechreuodd gyda ni ddechrau mis Tachwedd 2021 wedi bod \u00e2 chymwysterau Diogelwch Personol ar Draciau (PTS) yn o\u2019r blaen, a chytunwyd y byddem yn datblygu a chryfhau eu gwybodaeth gyda sgiliau a hyfforddiant ychwanegol, gan gynnwys ymwybyddiaeth asbestos, hyfforddiant osgoi ceblau a gweithio tuag at NVQ Lefel 2 mewn Adeiladu.<\/p>\n
Mae\u2019r ddau ddirprwy\u2019n cael eu cludo\u2019n ddyddiol o Garchar Prescoed ac maent wedi dod yn aelodau allweddol o\u2019r T\u00eem ar weithfeydd Pecyn 7 ar Linell Graidd y Cymoedd yn Aberd\u00e2r. Gweithiodd y ddau ddirprwy dros y Nadolig yn cynorthwyo gyda gwaith dymchwel Pompren y Diafol ger Trefforest yn ystod cyfres o gyfnodau meddiannu\u2019r rheilffordd.<\/p>\n
Cyn y fenter hon, roedd y dirprwyon wedi defnyddio\u2019u hamser yn y carchar i ennill cymwysterau, gan weithio tuag at ddiplom\u00e2u NEBOSH ac IOSH, ac o ganlyniad, mae un o\u2019r dirprwyon wedi dangos diddordeb arbennig mewn Iechyd a Diogelwch. Er mwyn helpu i feithrin y diddordeb hwn, mae T\u00eem y Prosiect wedi caniat\u00e1u iddo gysgodi ein Cynghorydd Iechyd, Diogelwch, Amgylchedd ac Ansawdd Neil Jones, i\u2019w gynorthwyo i gael gwell dealltwriaeth o\u2019r r\u00f4l.<\/p>\n

Roedd y ddau ddirprwy wedi dod yn rhan o\u2019n T\u00eem ar unwaith, maen nhw\u2019n gweithio\u2019n galed ac yn awyddus i ddysgu. Maen nhw wedi bod yn agored yngl\u0177n \u00e2\u2019u gorffennol ac mae eu cydweithwyr wedi croesawu hynny.
