Mae Griffiths wedi trawsnewid hen ardd yn Ysgol Gynradd Rhos-y-Fedwen yng Nglynebwy i fod yn ardal ddysgu allanol ar gyfer y dysgwyr ieuengaf.<\/p>\n

Wedi iddo ymweld ychydig cyn cyfnod clo COVID i siarad \u00e2\u2019r disgyblion am ei yrfa a\u2019i fusnes, fe gydiodd yr ysgol a\u2019i disgyblion yng nghalon ein cyn-berchennog, Mr Alun Griffiths. Addawodd wrthynt, petaen nhw\u2019n cynllunio eu parth dysgu allanol delfrydol, y byddai\u2019n helpu i wireddu\u2019r cynlluniau.<\/p>\n

Mae\u2019r ardal newydd wedi\u2019i chwblhau bellach, ac yn cynnwys cylch stori, cegin fwd, mannau gweithio, ardaloedd mathemateg a llythrennedd, gweithgareddau datblygu corfforol, llwyfan a hyd yn oed twnnel a phont.<\/p>\n

Mae\u2019r plant a\u2019r staff wrth eu boddau \u00e2\u2019u parth dysgu newydd a dweud y lleiaf.<\/p>\n

Dywed Pennaeth yr ysgol, Keri Smith:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cRoedd gardd y cyfnod sylfaen yn lle digon llwm, gyda dim ond t\u0177 chwarae yno, a doedd dim gofod allanol wedi\u2019i neilltuo gyda ni ar gyfer y Cyfnod Sylfaen a oedd yn cefnogi\u2019r dysgu i\u2019r plant.<\/p>\n

\u201cNewidiodd hyn oll yn dilyn ymweliad \u00e2\u2019r ysgol gan Alun Griffiths, a oedd wedi\u2019i drefnu gan d\u00eem allgymorth addysgol anhygoel y cwmni, a dyma ni heddiw gyda\u2019r gofod cwbl ryfeddol yma ble gall ein plant ddysgu a chwarae. Mae\u2019n ardderchog bod y cwmni lleol hwn yn rhoi rhywbeth yn \u00f4l i\u2019w cymuned ac yn ysbrydoli cenedlaethau’r dyfodol i gyrraedd eu potensial \u2013 pwy a \u0175yr, efallai y bydd rhai ohonyn nhw\u2019n rhan o\u2019u gweithlu yn y dyfodol… Does dim modd i ni ddiolch digon iddyn nhw! Diolch hefyd i Michele Jones, ein Cydlynydd STEM yn yr ysgol, sydd wedi gweithio\u2019n agos gydag Alun Griffiths yn cynllunio a chyflawni\u2019r prosiect.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Dywed Mr Alun Griffiths:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cPan ymwelais i ag Ysgol Rhos-y-Fedwen, gwnaeth ymroddiad a brwdfrydedd y staff dros roi\u2019r addysg orau i\u2019r plant adael cryn argraff arna i. Gwelais beth oedd y bwlch yn addysg y Cyfnod Sylfaen ac fe gynigiais helpu. Drwy\u2019r cydweithio rhwng yr ysgol a\u2019n t\u00eem ni, dw i\u2019n gobeithio y bydd yr hyn sydd wedi\u2019i greu yn hwb i addysg y dysgwyr yn y blynyddoedd cynnar ac yn y dyfodol, gobeithio y byddan nhw yn y diwydiant adeiladu gan fod angen pobl wych arnon ni. Mae hi wedi bod yn bleser cael cefnogi Ysgol Rhos-y-Fedwen.<\/p>\n

Mae disgwyl hefyd i\u2019r ysgol gael gwaith ailfodelu helaeth fel rhan o Raglen Ysgolion yr 21ain Ganrif, sy\u2019n bartneriaeth rhwng Cyngor Blaenau Gwent a Llywodraeth Cymru. Bydd peth o\u2019r gwaith hwn yn creu cyfleoedd i\u2019r ysgol weithio\u2019n agosach fyth gyda theuluoedd a\u2019r gymuned leol yn ehangach, sy\u2019n rhywbeth y mae Ysgol Gynradd Rhos-y-Fedwen yn ymfalch\u00efo\u2019n fawr ynddo.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Rydyn ni wrth galon y gymuned ac mae ein teuluoedd yr un mor bwysig i ni \u00e2\u2019r plant eu hunain. Mae\u2019r ysgol yn wynebu cyfnod hynod gyffrous, ac rydyn ni\u2019n edrych ymlaen yn eiddgar at gael rhannu\u2019r holl fanylion gyda\u2019n teuluoedd a\u2019r gymuned.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Dywed Gareth Davies sy\u2019n llywodraethwr yn yr ysgol ac yn gynghorydd lleol dros ward Rasa:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mae Rhos-y-Fedwen yn ysgol anhygoel sydd wrth galon y gymuned yma yn Rasa, ac rwy\u2019n hynod falch o fod yn Llywodraethwr yno dros y blynyddoedd diwethaf a chael gweld yr ysgol yn mynd o nerth i nerth.<\/p>\n

Mae cyfnod fydd hyd yn oed yn fwy positif yn wynebu\u2019r ysgol gyda gwelliannau cyffrous i adeilad yr ysgol wedi\u2019u cynllunio er mwyn gwella cyfleoedd dysgu ac addysgu, gan ddechrau gyda\u2019r ardal allanol wych yma, diolch i Alun Griffiths (Contractors) Ltd. Am beth gwych i\u2019w wneud i\u2019n dysgwyr, diolch yn fawr.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
