We are currently looking for an HGV Sweeper Driver to join the team at our Head Offices in Abergavenny. Due to the nature of the role, we are open to applications from candidates who live in; or can commute from some of the following areas: Newport, Cardiff, Swansea, Penarth, Barry, Porthcawl, Neath, Usk, Aberdare, Merthyr Tydfil, Llanfoist, Bristol, Chepstow, Pontypridd.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITY

Reporting to the Transport Manager, the successful HGV Sweeper Driver will be driving a Road sweeper lorry working on various construction sites, surfacing projects and general road maintenance projects.

The HGV Sweeper Driver will also be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience driving a Sweeper
  • Knowledge of the construction Industry
  • Be able to use industry specific apps on company mobile phone
  • Able to complete manual handling duties for gully sucking purposes
  • Good time management skills to help meet sites requirements and manage workload

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The HGV Sweeper Driver will be expected (or will be working towards) the following qualifications:

  • Class 2 / Cat C licence
  • Valid CPC
  • CSCS Card
