Are you a Site Agent with experience of Rail projects?

Founded in 1968 Griffiths are a sustainable Construction Contractor that helps connect communities through delivering Road, Rail, Water, and Utilities projects. Griffiths are looking for a railway Site Agent to lead on works in the Taffs Well area for the transformation of the Core Valley Lines. Candidates based in Cardiff, Pontypridd and Caerphilly areas are suitable.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITY

Joining Griffiths as Site Agent you will hold a vital role in the operational team of our Rail unit.

You will be responsible for:

  • Health and safety leadership to the assigned operational delivery site team
  • Delivering a high quality and profitable package of work
  • Ensuring that site management team rigorously adhere to Transport for Wales’ Life Saving Rules
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant HSE legislation and NR/TfW Standards
  • Compliance with all relevant NR/TfW Standards, Griffiths Procedures and HSE guidance
  • Developing and maintaining a construction programme and ensuring works are communicated and delivered against milestones.
  • Identifying, managing and controlling associated programme risks and communicating this as required
  • Promoting and maintaining effective client and stakeholder relationships to protect and enhance the company’s reputation to support repeat business

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal Site Agent will have experience on Rail projects and be a candidate that can lead teams to deliver results.

To be successful in this role it is likely the ideal candidate will have a relevant Degree or HND in civil engineering or similar or be in possession of relevant equivalent experience. You may have been in your current role for a while and developed some great construction experience that you are now ready to apply in a new challenge.

In addition you’ll be Personal Track Safety certificated and have proven leadership skills.

You will also be in possession of an SMSTS and have a relevant CSCS card.
