Gerard joined Griffiths as Chief Commercial Officer having transferred from sister-company Farrans. He brings over 28 years of construction contracting experience and a passion and commitment for strategic organisational change. After studying Civil Engineering in the 1990’s, Gerard has progressed his career across a range of disciplines including site construction, design, quality and commercial management before taking on progressively senior roles including Regional Operations Manager, Head of Business Improvement and Strategy Director. Gerard has always understood that the strength of any organisation is its people and has consistently supported learning and professional development at all levels.

  • Fellow of Engineers Ireland

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND CONTRIBUTION

  • Extensive experience in delivering frameworks and projects valued up to £85M in general civils, water & utilities and renewable sectors including Build-only, D&B and DBFO/PFI contracting formats
  • A natural collaborator who focusses on leading and implementing change through effective teamwork, communication and stakeholder management
  • (Past) Chairperson Engineers Ireland Northern.
